Important Information: Prendia/NIPT and Invasive Prenatal Test Samples During the Christmas Holidays 2025/26

Please take note of the following information regarding the shipment of samples during the holiday period:

For Prendia Samples

Christmas Week

Samples (Streck) must be sent to the laboratory before the evening of Tuesday, 23 December 2025, so they can be shipped to Geneva on Wednesday morning.
This means that the last blood draws before Christmas must be performed on Monday, 22 December 2025.
The laboratory will be open during its usual hours from 26 to 30 December 2025.

New Year’s Week

Samples (Streck) must be sent to the laboratory before the evening of Monday, 29 December 2025, so they can be shipped to Geneva on Tuesday morning.
This means that the last blood draws before New Year’s must be performed on Monday, 29 December 2025.
Please note the public holiday on Friday, 2 January 2026 in the canton of Vaud.
We will resume our activities on Monday, 5 January 2026 with normal opening hours.

For Invasive Prenatal Test Samples

Christmas Week

Sampling on Monday, 22.12.2025 → arrival on Tuesday, 23.12.2025 → QF result on Wednesday, 24.12.2025
Sampling on Tuesday, 23.12.2025 → arrival on Wednesday, 24.12.2025 → QF result on Thursday, 26.12.2025
We recommend avoiding sampling on Wednesday, 24.12.2025.

New Year’s Week

Sampling on Monday, 29.12.2025 → arrival on Tuesday, 30.12.2025 → QF result on Wednesday, 31.12.2025
Sampling on Tuesday, 30.12.2025 → arrival on Wednesday, 31.12.2025 → QF result on Monday, 5 January 2026
We recommend avoiding sampling on Wednesday, 31.12.2025.
